How can I eliminate or at least gain greater control over my emotions?

We have a spirit of sin in us. we need to learn to control it. It tries to influence us in feelings emotions thought and ways we dont even understand. But now we have the Holy Spirit thanks to Gods fee gift. greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. Romans 8 talks about pauls trial with the spirit. God Bless!
