Is this my period or implantation bleeding?

I've only been precisely tracking my period for about 4 months now, but this is the first time i've noticed it was a few days off. I'm almost absolutely positive i had a full, normal period last month, but today, just two days before my period, it's brown, spotty, and light. I know all i have to do is wait it out and see if it turns out normal, but its been an hour and nothing else has happened. I'm getting really paranoid so to comfort me, could anyone tell me if this sounds like its probably implantation bleeding to you?
