What are the Legal Ramifications behind Copyrighting your name?

I have the Idea Of Copyrighting my name and then every time i receive a piece of mail that i didn't request or give permission to have my name placed on that mail i would be able to get them to stop using my name with out my permission with a Cease and Desist letter that says if they don't stop they would have to start paying me like a $1,000 every time they commit a copyright infringement
