Why are the tax payers of the good old U.S. of A paying to rebuild Afghanistan?

Because our tax money has gone into the hands of people who forget where it came from. The very idea of spending it here at home just doesn't sound very sexy. It sounds like maybe there are Problems that Need Adressed. And they don't want to admit that. So they fritter it away on junk overseas.
